A career professional in the advertising industry for over three decades, played key roles in management positions for some of Australia’s best known advertising agency brands. With long term stints at a handful of agencies in both Melbourne and Sydney, joined Grey Worldwide in 2001 from what was then Australia’s creative powerhouse, The Campaign Palace, where he had enjoyed its halcyon days in the nineties.One of his proudest career achievements was leading Grey’s efforts in winning B&T’s Victorian Agency of the Year award in 2006. Over his distinguished career, he’s been intimately involved with award winning campaigns for clients in a diverse range of categories, including the AFL, Pacific Brands, Holeproof and Jockey, Channel 7, ANZ Bank, the launch of Compass Airlines; global brands Sara Lee, adidas, Nissan, Dunlop and Goodyear; as well as retailers Subway, Red Rooster and Jeans West and FMCG brands Ocean Spray and Four'n Twenty Pies.His industry recognitions include Dux of the Advertising Federation of Australia’s (AFA) Marketing & Advertising Course at Monash University, guest lecturer at RMIT and Monash Universities; an Australian representative at the Bates Advanced Management Course in New York and past Chairman of the RMIT Advertising Industry Advisory Board for 6 years.After a 13 year stint at Grey, teamed up with two creative partners to form a specialist creative agency Three Wise Men in 2014. It brought together seasoned campaigners with celebrated expertise in behavioural change communications, largely on the back of the world -renowned road safety advertising for the TAC.
