    * Led a team of infrastructure and Service Desk personnel to provide stable network and compute environment for all personnel and facilities including 160 retail stores, 3 Corporate Offices and a Manufacturing facility. * As a result of disruption caused by the pandemic, the decision was made to pivot from an internal support model to a hosted service provider. The approach addressed shortcomings in the internal model and resulted in a better overall customer service experience. We shifted to an operational expense model to provide additional agility in difficult periods. * Migrated on-premise Exchange/Outlook to subscription services model (O365). This reduced server management, maintenance overhead and provided a consistent stable mail environment for end users at a lower cost. * While maintaining operations I worked directly with hosted service partners and vendors to continuously improve processes and efficiencies. * Directly coordinated PCI DSS self-assessment compliance responsibilities for the organization assuring that criteria were met to allow the company to continue to accept credit card transactions. This included policy review, quarterly external scans, annual penetration scans and risk assessment documentation. All compliance data was gathered and submitted to the credit card processing companies on time each year. * Created a layered solution of technical defense for user endpoints and retail locations. Objective was to enforce policy and protection of end points when off private network (in the wild). * Migrated all workstations to Kaseya (ITSM) solution to further enhance imaging, remote management and remote support of endpoints.

Replaced meshed T1 MPLS network for dual circuit SDWAN design. New network switching and wireless in every store as well as deployment of 700 node VoIP phone solution replacing end of life Nortel PBX at each location. * Moved monitoring of facility circuits, and infrastructure equipment (160 locations) to external vendor providing 24x7 support. Dramatically improved time to repair and reduced down time by 15%. * Refreshed factory wireless environment. Due to improved technology I was able to reduce the wireless device count by half and provide better overall coverage for manufacturing systems. The wireless environment became critical in the proper and continued function of the manufacturing and warehousing processes. * Implemented web filtering solution for all on network connected workstations providing protection from productivity loss, inappropriate use and malicious sites. * Implemented mail filtering solution to protect end users from most common vector of attack and malware. Blocked in excess of 35,000 malicious emails per month. * Standardized on three models of PC hardware for all 1200 endpoints. Creating procurement, imaging and support efficiencies.
