I’ve been blessed by a career at a storied company that allowed me the privilege of leading some of the most talented teams in Asia and the Americas. My 32 years at Otis Elevator Company were punctuated by 10 moves and filled with deeply satisfying relationships with employees, suppliers and customers, all recorded in some very thick passports. I had the good fortune of making the singular journey from sales trainee to President South Asia Pacific and then President of the Americas. Along the way we saw extraordinary improvements in productivity, dramatic growth in Asia, operating margins double, and the launching of the most successful product in our company’s 160 year history. I’ve retired a bit early to spend more time balancing family and giving back to organizations and causes that are important to me. I am looking forward to continuing my involvement on nonprofit boards and with groups that promote learning, deepen my own faith and offer others a helping hand.
