Visionary
Answered the call to lead by shear vision alone. My vision would guide us. We needed something to happen? I visioned it to happen. I visioned through roadblocks, impasses, and all colors of tape. Saved lots of time by not having to create ridiculous projects, overthink things, or harp on details.Pro tip: Used “I’ve seen this movie before” in meetings quite a lot, whenever non-visionaries or pretenders-to-being-visionary brought up new ideas. Because I was the visionary, and they weren’t. And because I may have actually seen a movie whose plot, reasonable people might agree, could apply to the situation. And we could talk about our favorite scenes from that movie, if they had seen it and could remember it. Or I might have thought of a film, mostly irrelevant to the topic at hand - but certainly more interesting - though not so off-topic that it didn’t suggest, dare I say, a whiff of genius - something worth going off on a huge tangent for even if it torpedoed the original meeting agenda.Thrived in ambiguity because it sounded cool, required no accountability, and it led to my creation of amazing and awesome nth-order ambiguities.Amassed huge wealth and authored scores of books and videos on the topic, and was a fixture on cable business news networks. Not that I needed the money.Gave back to the community by launching the Gifted Young Visionaries Program for gifted young visionaries and their gifted parents. Trophies were flying everywhere.
