About Randy Brooks

At APS we help Pilots bring everyone safely. I am privileged to bring decades of diverse flying experience to use in training pilots to deal with emergency upset situations.Loss of Control in-flight (LOC-I) is the number one cause of fatalities in every sector of aviation in the world. Think about the enormity of that statement. If there was an aircraft or component responsible for that, it would be grounded or recalled immediately. The greatest culprit is our training. Though there are many entry points and contributors to LOC-I, it is primarily a pilot-centered problem. The solution must be based on training that contemplates the human factors impacts of unanticipated airplane upset events, and prepares pilots to safely and effectively return to the normal flight envelope. If we want to reduce the LOC-I accident rate, we must make changes to how we prepare pilots to deal with LOC-I through focused, comprehensive Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT). That is precisely what we do at APS. Our quest is Every Pilot Trained - In Control - All the Time.

Listed skills include Aviation, Flights, Aircraft, Piloting, and 46 others.
