About Randall Hill

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Hill subsequently served six years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, with assignments in field artillery and military intelligence. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Southern California. He is a member of several boards and organizations, including the National Academies Board on Army Science and Technology, the American Association for Artificial Intelligence, the American Society for Engineering Education, the International Artificial Intelligence in Education Society, and the Association of the United States Army.Specialties: Modeling and simulation, virtual humans, intelligent tutoring systems, perception and spatial cognition, case method learning, virtual environments for leader development.
