Account Manager - Optus VIC (Localisation)

Main duties include:• Working closely with the Operations Team and Senior Account Managers to translate sales plans into execution plans that drive sales and in-store excellence.• Timely planning and project management of the Merchandising priorities, Branded Events, Field Training and other execution requirements• Designing job briefs and inspiring the sales, merch and Brand Ambassador teams to perform through influential briefs.• Maintenance of field sales tools and system• Measuring, monitoring and effectively communicating performance progress and results• Interpreting and analysing data then presenting insights and recommendation.• field training of staff and clients • Multi site Sales management

Main duties included:• managing a team of Brand Ambassadors to generate leads/ appointments for local Optus Business in Sydney’s inner west.• Training and developing team members to work past objections and how to restructures pitches on the fly as situations demand.• Analysing reports from data collected and using insights from out in the field to report findings and results Optus leadership and recommending alternative courses of actions to continue to see growth in the program.• scouting and recommending new locations to canvas based on Optus Market share and competition in the areas.

Main duties included:•​ Driving KPI's for both Individual sales associates as well as whole Store targets to ensure whole team contributions.•​ Coaching and Development of New and Existing staff, through Weekly One on Ones, Daily store Huddles, Monthly Team meeting and on the fly coaching.• Assisting sales associates in creating effective customer solutions with multiple services that benefit customer’s personal needs as well as promoting Team collaboration amongst Sales associates whilst creating a friendly competitive sales environment.• Analysis of previous results to create a game plan for continued store growth.•​Worked closely with Optus Channel Managers as well as BIG Leadership to establish this brand-new store in the Atherton Tablelands, assisting with effective advertisement, Creating connections with many Tableland Community groups including the Chamber of Commerce to cement relations, leading to two Nominations for ‘Regional Innovation’ at the TRC Business Excellence awards 2 years in a row.• Provided Multi Site support for new/ existing stores in the Optus Regional Pop-up Program which included traveling to other sites to provide training and assistance to up and coming managers and stores with brand new teams. Support included: Systems training, Customer conversations and role-plays, Supporting New managers to understand and create a daily rhythm, and other store duties such as store builds and shut downs.• Actively seeking sponsorship opportunities, as well as other branding events to build Optus reputation in the local tablelands community.
