The National Executive Director is the key management leader of I PROTECT ME (IPM), and is responsible for overseeing the; recruitment, administration, programmes and strategic plan of the organisation. Other key duties include fundraising, networking, marketing, and community outreach. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Board Governance:• Works with board in order to fulfil the mission of the organisation.• Responsible for leading IPM in a manner that supports and guides the organisation’smission as defined by the Board of Directors.• Responsible for communicating effectively with the Board and providing, in a timely andaccurate manner, all information necessary for the Board to function properly and to makeinformed decisions.ACTUAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Planning and operation of annual budget and tracking delivery in keeping with strategic budgets and programmes.• Training and motivating others, especially young people, in business skills and entrepreneurship to enable them to present IPM’s brand to businesses and seek business contracts• Establishing employment and administrative policies and procedures for all functions and for the day-to-day operation of the nonprofit.• Serving as IPM’s primary spokesperson to the organisation’s constituents, the media and the general public.• Establishing and maintaining relationships with various organisations throughout the community and within networks and utilising those relationships to strategically enhance IPM’s Mission.• Reporting to and working closely with the Board of Directors to seek their involvement in policy decisions, fundraising and to increase the overall visibility of IPM nationally and internationally• Supervising and motivating staff and beneficiaries.

Social Cohesion & Inclusion:Our initiatives at KS Spurs offer a range of projects targeting marginalised or disadvantaged groups particularly teenagers and young men at risk of offending or already involved in youth gangs and violence. Our projects also cover inclusion projects to reflect and promote integration amongst the diverse ethnic minority groups within our community as well as engaging with those community members suffering with mental issues, peer pressure and lack of positive role modelling, lack of positive parenting. Sports participation: Promote the benefits of sports and activity from a physical , mental and social viewpoint for all participants of all ages, abilities and disabilities from school going children through a comprehensive after school programme and week-end initiatives.

In collaboration with the local government / gemeente Nijmegen #GGD, #RIBW, #Iriszorg and Leger des Heils. I visit the participant on a weekly basis at their houses. I work with participants through a serie of coaching intervention sessions with the main aim to restore human dignity and self love. e.g. areas such as administration, the household, psychological problems, addiction and dealing with justice step by step. We also bring structure to the day and look for suitable daytime activities. In consultation with the participant, debt counselling, addiction care, mental health care or another body will be called in if necessary. The aim is that people can live as independently as possible, that problems are manageable and that no criminal offenses are committed.

As "case manager" (Official title is Ambulante begeleiding) I support people in their daily lives, so that people can take control of their own lives and so that they can become part of society as independently as possible.
