My experience throughout the entire range of product development allows me to excel at building hardware and system models to synthesize inter-related system metrics and requirements, which I then use to innovate efficient, reliable, and manufacturable optical designs to meet project schedules and goals.Projects Overview:Integral to the development of 10+ area scan/imaging systems for use in medical diagnostics, which have included fluorescence, Kohler illumination, darkfield, and polarization-based differentiation..Nonimaging systems include an F-theta scanning microplate reader, a state of the art flow cytometer for sorting bovine sperm with <<1% detection CV, a urine analysis system to screen for ketoacidosis, colorimetric recognition tool for consumables, a custom waveguide for optical absorbance measurements in a disposable product, etc.Custom development of manufacturing/test tools as required for nonstandard applications.Development of custom analysis tools to assist in data capture and interpretation for specialized hardware/breadboards used throughout product development and/or manufacturing. This includes custom image processing and analysis algorithms/software.
