I joined the Game Audio Network Guild to connect with other creative people who are exploring immersive audio experiences. Supernatural Sounds was an early adopter of 5.1 surround sound for film and TV and we've carefully watched the growth of Spatial audio. We want to be on the cutting edge of sound for games and GANG helps us do that.

As a voting member of the Hollywood Music In Media Awards, I review music submission for film, television, video games and numerous other media. I look forward to the awards season because every year brings fresh new ideas and exciting opportunities to anticipate where this amazing industry is heading.

Riverkids – The Found Children Of Cambodia is a 102 minute feature-length documentary film shot in Full HD, 24 FPS and 5.1 surround-sound. The film contains an all-original music score with more than 30 original compositions. The film also contains numerous High Dynamic Range (HDR) photographs of Northern California, Northern Michigan and Siem Reap, the cultural center of Cambodia. The middle of the film showcases HDR photos from several ancient temple complexes, including Angkor Wat.The film includes re-enactments of events in the lives of 3 children who are at-risk of child trafficking in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Shot on location, these stories are based on first-hand accounts from at-risk children. The film also contains expert interviews with Dale Edmonds and Sophon Phy, co-founders of Riverkids NGO, Joel Brinkley, Pulitzer Prize winning author, and Chanrithy Him, winner of the Oregon book award.The film addresses two core questions: how does child trafficking happen and why has it been prominent in Cambodia, making international headlines. To discover answers to these questions, the producers went on a global search which ultimately led them to the killing fields just outside of Phnom Penh. In the middle of the killing fields, there stands a tree against which children were brutally murdered.But in the ancient temples, the most amazing trees have grown up through the remains of a culture from long ago. These trees represent the rising spirit of the people of Cambodia. These trees are a symbol of their resilience and strength. The youth of the gentle land are choosing the trees of their ancestors, laying hold to a new and brighter future.
