• Carry out month-end General Ledger activities to close out the month-end process. Entry of accruals and journals (recurring, management journals) to ensure the ledger reflects the correct financial position each month.
• Responsible for EAC forecasting and Financial Reporting for the Consulting & Outsourcing contracts for which I was responsible.
• Produce the monthly Management Information Packs incorporating Financial scorecards and related commentary for the Clients/contracts for which I was responsible and report these to the respective Contract SEs.

• Completion of Internal Controls checklists for Supervisor sign-off for each in-scope contract.

• Graduate Trainee Accountant on HBOS Graduate Management Scheme. A 4-year Programme involving annual rotation placements in various departments within the Finance function:Cashbook & Bank Reconciliations (09/01 - 08/02)
• Responsible for recording, updating and reconciling five individual cashbooks to their respective general ledger balances from previous days’ transactions.
• Investigation of any queries relating to each of my cashbooks with the bank and our internal accounting department.
