Responsibilities include forecasting, financial reporting to C-Suite and the Board, tax compliance, payroll oversight, 842 implementation, process improvement for finance and cross-functional teams, and transaction support and reporting.Manage a team of ten. Upon starting my role, I reinvented the team culture to be service minded, adaptable, and process driven.

Provided financial due diligence in RSM's Transaction Advisory Service Group- Supported buyers and sellers of small to mid-sized companies in all types of transactions- Identified and communicated key deal issues, assess target's quality of earnings and quality of working capital- Lead discussions with targets, including CFO's, CEO's, and controllers- Analyze target's historical financial statements, including EBITDA, revenues and expenses

As CFO, I was responsible for obtaining a PPP loan within the first week of the program opening to provide vital financing for the business. In addition, I was responsible for building cash and operating income forecasts to help manage the business during the pandemic.Half way through the year the company engaged with a private equity group to sell the business. I facilitated the successful sale of the business by managing the quality of earnings, legal counsel, operational due diligence, and successfully negotiating multiple key points with the purchasers which resulted in a net benefit to ownership.In addition, I developed and optimized processes in the HR, AP, and FCRP cycles that integrated Excel with company systems, which decreased work time by +15% and increased the accuracy of each process.Ultimately the purchaser brought in their own C-Suite and my employment contract was not continued.
