A Passion for Defending Good People in Bad SituationsI grew up on Long Island and earned my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1981. From there, I became involved in real estate, but found my work to be unfulfilling. I noticed good people being mistreated by law enforcement and disliked them being bulldozed through the court system. I I needed to do something about this. I have a deep desire to prevent injustices and I feel a calling to prevent the abuse of authority. As a public defender in Broward County I honed my skills in the courtroom, and to this day I fight to defend those whose rights have been violated. I now work hard to give clients a second chance. My staff and I take pride in our close communication with clients, thorough investigations, and unyielding protection of the rights of our clients.
