At Hunter I developed and launched the new standard in golf course irrigation control systems. (www.hunterindustries.com/Golf/pilot).In one month the new Pilot product line has resulted in a dramatic increase in worldwide sales of golf course irrigation control equipment as well as supplemental commercial irrigation product sold in conjunction with the golf projects.The two year project was completed on schedule and on budget. It included a new irrigation control system based on traditional field controllers, a new decoder-based control system including new decoders, a new central interface and new irrigation management software.In this position, in addition to developing new products, I drive product positioning for both existing and new irrigation control products used on golf courses. The primary objective is to expand worldwide market share and increase sales revenue within my market segment. To accomplish these goals I travel worldwide where I meet with end-users to better understand their needs. I accompany sales staff on calls to understand their unique challenges, and I meet, train and travel with distribution partners to gain insight into their perspective of the market. While attending UCSB to earn bachelor's degree in Geology, worked full time maintaining and repairing assembly line manufacturing equipment in a thin-film clean room environment. Equipment included vacuum deposition, chemical deposition, photo lithography and numerous other devices.

Performed any electronics support work required by electrical and mechanical engineering staff. This included troubleshooting, repairing and wiring on the Hubble Space Telescope.

Maintained and repaired electronic warfare systems (radar jamming and receiving equipment) on B-52 aircraft. Trained new personnel in flightline maintenance.
