So far I have illustrated two stories for Dark Oz's publication "Decay", issue # 14 (Special End of the World Issue) and #15. This is my first time using a digital format start-to-finish, no pencils, inks, etc.

Prepress preparation of customer-provided art specs for long and short run labels using the Macintosh G5 running OSX Leopard. Duties include converting files from IBM to Mac formats and preparing files transmitted via e-mail for prepress use, trouble-shooting digital files prior to outputting to RIP, training new artists, and resolving all prepress issues that arise.

I drew the back-up stories for all four issues of Nightingale: Mistress of Dreams and it was a wild time. These books really stretched my layout muscles a bit and I did some real solid work in them. Maybe not highly polished, but damn it, it was an honest and forthright effort.

These were one of my earliest gigs. I drew the Dave Winfield issue of Sports All-Stars, Issue #63 of Rock N Roll Comics: The Janis Joplin Story and my art was also used for issue #64: 60s San Francisco mostly because I drew a couple of VW Beetles in the background which other artists neglected to include in their period pieces. As soon as Jay Allen saw the Beetles he wrote me to say how it struck him that it was such an integral part of the visual scene of the late 60s but it never occured to him that it was missing until he saw my Joplin pages. That's the kind of attention to details that I bring to all my work and that's what made this such a great experience.
