Rand began his professional journey with roles at Acxiom and McCann Relationship Marketing (MRM). In 2009, Rand started Resonance, a marketing agency helping brands grow through success on social media in China. Resonance serves esteemed brands such as Tiffany, Bose, Star Alliance, Westin, Disney, Singapore Airlines, Starbucks, AB InBev, Shell, Microsoft, Dior, Prada, Fendi, Tumi, and Dubai Tourism. Rand has shared his insights in interviews with major media outlets including Reuters, Forbes, CNBC, and the BBC. He has spoken at expert conferences, like the UC Berkeley Asia Business Conference, L2 Digital Summit in New York, and SES Hong Kong. He served as a judge for the Global Effie Awards and is honored to be a member of the Meihua Advertising Hall of Fame.
