Project Description: Design Validation and Construction of Central Square Building (3 Basements and Ground Floor) with Top Down Construction Method and Diaphragm Wall at Poonamallee High Road including all Civil, MEP and Landscaping works. as Part of Development of Central Square Project.Client: Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL)Roles & responsibilities:* Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. * Sampling and testing of concrete materials (Cement, Sand, Aggregates, GGBS) as per ITP. * Inspection & testing of incoming materials as per ITP. * Arranging Concrete from RMC and establish controls as per ITP for RMCs. * Regular Quality inspection of site activities (Pre & Post Pour) and maintaining inspection records. * Raise any procedure/check deviations and follow upon rectification and corrective action. * Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)/Method statement for different activities at site level. * Verify and maintain Calibration records of all testing equipments. * Documentation of QA/QC records (including RMC’s) & submission to client/consultants. * Doing Product Quality Assessment (PQA) and tracking quality assurance progress. * Preparing Monthly Quality Report (MQR). * Preparing Mix Design for different grades of concrete. * Raising and closing RFIs of work activities with PMC/Client. * BBS inspection of structures internally and with PMC/Client. * Coordination with client for stage/final inspection and obtain acceptance of customer hold points (NCR). * Giving Quality related training to Engineers, Supervisors and Workmen.
