I launched my first company, Quarasan, in 1982. That little design agency grew into a multi-million-dollar educational design and development firm, serving the nation’s largest educational publishers. Quarasan was BIG—and demanding. Ever the entrepreneur, I pushed to meet each demand head on—building buildings, growing staff, and selling each project, but I deeply missed my “true hands-on” work—transformative creativity and graphic design. So, I transitioned Quarasan into QuaraCORE to focus on my CORE creative offerings. Along the way, I authored and self-published my first colorful book, 99 CREATIVE WOWs: Words of Wisdom for Business, founded Teacher Peach in 2012, a snappy e-commerce retailer, and in 2018, put a bow on Boxed & BRILLiant, a dazzling, sparkly gift box company.Then the world shifted, and so did I. From my 2020 dining room, I finally got clear. To honor my creative passions, I edited my entities, keeping what aligns, releasing what doesn’t. I let go, prototyped, and began to test my new vision. (Talk about a well-orchestrated stress-pool.) In 2021, I piloted JUST CALL RANDI as a creative design coaching platform for entrepreneurs—and I absolutely love collaborating with entrepreneurs. I closed Teacher Peach in 2022, donating all merchandise to nonprofits, schools, and agencies. Boxed & BRILLiant now nests within JUST CALL RANDI where I dream up creative solutions that add value for a deliciously diverse array of clients using my 4-step creative process. Why call the company JUST CALL RANDI? Because regardless of company name, focus, product, or service (and I’ve had more than a few!), whenever clients want creative “stuff” that works, this is exactly what they say: “JUST CALL RANDI. She’ll know what to do.” And with these amazing clients as my collaborators—I do.

In 1982, I began Quarasan in the basement of my little blue house with $57 and a fierce drive to succeed. By mixing smart risks with creativity and energy, Quarasan grew into a preeminent educational product developer of market-leading educational programs, curricula, and business programs. Until 2014 when it formed the nucleus of QuaraCORE, Quarasan provided creative solutions and content for education, business, and beyond. Quarasan specialized in programs and products designed to educate—anywhere. From Pre-K and Higher Ed to training and corporate, Quarasan created, conceptualized, developed, and produced award-winning products. In 2012, significant industry shifts in the edpub sector signaled the timing was right to develop the proprietary creative problem-solving processes more fully that I’d honed and proven through Quarasan to continue growing wisely to into even more industry sectors. At the same time, I launched Teacher Peach to experience firsthand what it takes to succeed in the e-commerce and nonprofits sectors. Ever a serial entrepreneur, I’ll always treasure Quarasan as my first successful and creative sandbox. In 2012, I founded Teacher Peach, the go-to brand for amazing teacher gifts and motivating classroom products to help teachers inspire kids to be confident and creative—in school and out! Teacher Peach classroom products include certificates, greeting cards, positive postcards, and more to recognize student success—easily, economically, and effectively. Teacher Peach’s popular and coveted teacher gifts make it easy for families and PTOs to champion and support teachers—with inspiring gifts they truly appreciate. I initially built this energetic company to learn the ropes of e-commerce and nonprofit givebacks first-hand. In today’s world, everyone is a consumer, a fact that impacts all the businesses QuaraCORE serves. To understand direct-to-consumer sales and nonprofit initiatives to best serve our B2B clients, we jumped right in and built Teacher Peach. As a result, we not only help teachers and kids—our creative team is also well-versed in product production, merchandising, marketing communications, social media campaigns, and consumer product problem-solving.
