Box Office Coordinator-Recently as the Box Office Coordinator for Dance St. Louis, I had the opportunity to coordinate both the annual Season Ticket Campaign and the DSL Box Office, provided customer service for subscribers, board members, and single ticket buyers, registered students for Master Classes, and also served as Box Office Liason at various venues such as the Blanche Touhill Center of the Performing Arts and the Fabulous Fox Theatre during performances. Sales Promotions-During the first year that I began working at KDNL, I interned in the sales promotion department after graduating from Stephens College. That opportunity eventually led to the chance to coordinate and supervise volunteers for an annual event hosted in the area at the Americas Center called The Working Women’s Survival Show. I assisted various sponsors and vendors who participated in the event as well as the ABC soap opera talent featured as guest stars at the event as they took pictures and signed autographs for their fans. I also prepared surveys for sponsors and vendors who participated in the event as an attempt to make their experiences the next year just as memorable. Assignment Editor/Field Producer-If you knew anything about KDNL ABC 30, then you would know that everyone there wore many different hats. I had the privilege of being one of the Assignment Editors on staff. However, my duties did not stop there. I have filled in as an associate and field producer many times for political and area events. I also had the opportunity to coordinate and log tapes, book interviews, develop story ideas, prepare day sheets for the morning and afternoon news meetings, supervise interns, and write teasers for the evening newscasts.Specialties: Social Media Marketing, Non-profits, marketing research, freelance writing, event planning, and television production.
