I am a former Registered Respiratory Therapist, currently on a path to a career change. While I loved working in the healthcare field, COVID-19 caused me to re-think my path and career choice. I am now a current student at Promineo Tech, and I am on an exciting new adventure to become a full-stack web developer. What I will do with my new skills is still up in the air. I figure I have plenty of time to consider this while I develop the skills I need to become employable. I'll enjoy this thrilling learning journey while it last. For the next twelve months I'm committed to learning Front-end, followed by Back-end, web development skills. While life will surely be busy over the next year, I still enjoy a number of hobbies, which will help me find work/life balance during a stressful time. Some of these hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, music, being active outdoors, horticulture, and many more. I have a passion for learning and a love for life. I believe anything is possible with a positive mindset and determination. I'm excited to see where I will take my learning journey next.
