As Senior Director of Training & Program Development , I support the Illinois Intact Family Recovery (IFR) Program model. Implementing the IFR model in Northern, Eastern, and Metro-East Illinois, spanning 27 counties. The project's goals are to secure the well-being, permanency, and safety of children with parents affected by substance abuse disorders (SUD). IFR improves family recovery stability while increasing system-level capacity and effectiveness by connecting Child Welfare providers with agencies that serve families affected by substance use disorders. In this role I also support the overall Programs Team with technical assistance by overseeing the Capacity Building IDHS training department that serves both Prevention & Intervention and Trauma Initiatives. Proudly serves as ICOY's committee Co-Chair of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.
