Anything is possible! The secret? The clarity and courage that come from personal branding! I know; I’ve lived it. I LOVE my job. I’ve found my bliss. And never forget what got me here. For 10 years I lived in Paris consulting with some of tech's brightest stars. But the dream job became a bad dream. The job and org culture no longer fit, my health was suffering, my life wasn't my own. And I couldn't find a way out. So I got gutsy and moved back to the US to start a venture that fit my strengths and values. I enhanced my consulting experience and INSEAD MBA with training as a coach and personal brand strategist. It was hard, it was scary, it was right. It worked. Now, 20 years in, I’m still growing, and flourishing as the trusted advisor for rising-stars, executives and entrepreneurs seeking a career change, new position, authentic leadership presence, or exciting “3rd act.” Anything IS possible with personal branding as the catalyst! That’s why we always begin with a data-driven brand analysis and action plan. We define the future you want and clarify what makes you irresistible to employers, stakeholders and customers. Then we craft your go-to-market strategies and materials. You become a right-fit opportunity magnet for the people who need to know you. Are we a fit?Are you smart, grounded, and energetic? Do you value self-reflection, growth, and getting it done? Do you appreciate the value of a comprehensive process that illuminates your path and doesn’t take forever to do it? If so, yes, you are the kind of client I LOVE to help. I‘m jazzed by people, passion, process, and possibilities. I’m not a fan of perfection; it’s a stall. I want you branded and out in the market, excited by your future and working hard to get it.My mission? Help you be the REAL you—to discover or renew your professional passion, capitalize on strengths, be jazzed on the journey, and be unafraid to be yourself—every day. Anything is possible!AKA: Randy Bussin

Fulfilling Career Ambitions 2004 - 2021Greater Boston AreaCorporate “rainmakers” in professional services firms and small business owners/consultants face challenges their predecessors could never imagine. Here's what it looks like:◆ They're hired for a core competency, yet feel intense pressure to build relationships and bring in business ◆ They don't know how to escape a commoditized title to become a premium personal brand, differentiated within their firm and competition. ◆ They know they are behind on social media, but don’t know how to create an online professional presence. ◆ They're unique and interesting, but their bios are "corporate speak" yawn-fests.Sound familiar? Whether you're an international tax partner, litigation attorney, or other consultant, you'll likely have experienced some or all of these scenarios. Now what? That's where I come in. We set a strategy to get clarity around your “super powers” and career/business goals. We then focus on ways to leverage your differentiation, up your game, open the door to new business , nurture long-lasting client relationships , and increase your industry visibility through thought leadership and social media. You become a recognizable and trusted brand with clear value and differentiation, that create emotional connections. Prospects will choose you over your contenders because they genuinely like you, sense chemistry, feel your passion, and trust your authenticity and knowledge. And your firm will benefit too. I see the power of personal branding everyday when I work with clients and deliver workshops, group training, and one-on-one coaching to professional services firms, law firms, and consulting companies. And I've saw it for the 10 years I worked directly with William Arruda as a Master Personal Branding Strategist and Executive Coach in for PwC, delivering personal branding workshops and one-on-one coaching to the firm’s most senior partners. Director, Mba Alumni Mentor And Lucent Msm ProgramBabson F.W. Olin Graduate School Of Business 2005 - 2006Wellesley, MassachusettsThe power of mentorship has always been a deep passion, so I was thrilled to be recruited to direct two strategic initiatives for Babson's graduate business school: overhaul the Alumni Mentor Program and enhance the Lucent MSM program. For both initiatives, I interfaced across Olin constituencies--the Graduate Center for Career Development, Alumni Relations, faculty, and others. For the Alumni Mentor program, I worked with 90 MBA alumni, 20 peer mentors, 145 MBA students. My mission was to assess diminishing program performance, strategize recommendations, and enhance student and alumni participation. Revamping the program’s strategic objectives and emphasizing enhanced mentor and mentee training, marketing, outreach, and networking were the goals I prioritized. I'm proud of what we accomplished in just a year: ◆ The quality of mentor/mentee relationships was greatly enhanced by development of comprehensive mentor, career development, and resume training for alumni and peer advisors. ◆ The program's visibility and participation grew through the creation of marketing outreach including a color brochure, community blackboard site, semi-annual newsletters, and numerous mentoring tip sheets. ◆ Communication and networking spiked when I organized structured networking events and activities. ◆ A renewed focus on student’s career goals and industry preferences, enhanced the matching of pairs. -
Assistant Director, Graduate Center For Career ServicesBentley University - Mccallum Graduate School Of Business 2003 - 2005Waltham, MassachusettsEarly in my forties, after focusing many years on my career, I adopted my daughter from China and soon realized that my consulting travel schedule was unsustainable for a single parent. Unfortunately--like many of my clients today--I had no back-up plan. And here's where serendipity and life collide: I hired a career coach, and almost 19 months later--after much research, a long frustrating path, lots of tears, and a 65% pay cut--I accepted a short internship at the Carroll School of Management and chose to enter high education in career counseling. Here's a bit of my higher ed journey:◆ As a Counselor, I advised over 500+ graduate business students and alumni, with a focus on marketing, finance, consulting, and entrepreneurial pursuits. I was also a graduate advisor to Finance, Marketing, & International Student Associations. ◆ As an Educator, I co-created curriculum, taught several sections of an MBA Career Management Course, developed workshops, and was asked by a senior OB faculty to assist in teaching a Doctoral Seminar on Careers Theory, Research and Practice. My classes received a rating of 4.9 out of 5.0 for teaching excellence. ◆ Within Corporate Outreach, I initiated a new “Lunch and Learns” series about new careers/industries, attracted 24 new recruiting firms to campus, and took MBA students on corporate “road trips," to The Boston Globe, Verizon, FedEx, Sovereign Bank, and Fidelity. ◆ As a Program Developer, managing a large cross-functional team, and creating a new program, I quickly revamped the MBA school's annual two-week resume review nightmare which then received a student rating of 4.8 out of 5. These experiences were worth the journey: I loved working with graduate students, my consulting experience made it fun for me to launch new corporate outreach programs, and the knowledge of myself that I gained from this work helped me define my true passion for entrepreneurship, coaching, and reinvention. -

FounderTrilogie Consultants 1993 - 2003Paris Area, France And Boston, MaAfter many years of working crazy hours in high-tech firms, I craved a new challenge and environment. That was the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey. I teamed with a colleague to consult on tech projects and after a year of learning the ropes, I launched my firm, Trilogie Conseil. I led the company from Paris for 2 years, as Trilogie, and from Boston for another 8, as Trilogie Consultants, growing to a team of 4.Trilogie Consultants developed business and launch strategies for technology firms in international markets. Our original work was U.S.-to-Europe; over time, we diversified our services to include helping European tech firms launch in the U.S. In ten years, we successfully launched international operations for 15 technology startups: 10 U.S.-to-Europe/Asia and 5 Europe-to-U.S. For most of these firms, within a year of global launch, their international revenues represented 10-25% of their worldwide numbers. While leading Trilogie and Trilogie Consultants I also: ◆ Built an original proprietary financial model to enable Trilogie's CFO clients to more accurately predict overseas expenditures by identifying single and recurring setup and operating costs. ◆ Routinely interfaced with VCs and managed client relationships at CEO and VP levels. ◆ Positioned Trilogie to offer an integrated international launch team by building strategic relationships with European vendors and service providers. ◆ Generated 20 new client engagements through the development of an extensive referral network, strategic business partners, and cold calling. ◆ Spoke frequently at a variety of premier IT and VC conferences: Tech Ventures Global; SIIA; EuroEntry Conference; Boston College International Perspectives\IT. ◆ Became an early blogger, co-wrote a book called Bank Technology Watch (Book), and wrote a case on international business development for the MBA program at Babson College.
