Directed non-profit dedicated to advancing childhood literacy by mobilizing reading tutors, engaging parents, and expanding home libraries to help under-served public school children throughout the Bay Area. Responsible for all fundraising, program management, administration, marketing, external communications, budgeting, partnerships and community.

Developed and implemented a civility campaign throughout the Bay Area Jewish community that now serves as a national model. Other responsibilities included program development, writing, community outreach, communications, event planning and project management.

Created and supervised an organizational structure of 43 committees for the running of a six-day, $2.7 million, city-wide Olympic style, youth sporting event. Responsible for all aspects of planning, organization, and management of the event, involving the participation of 1,800 people from across the world, as well as 1,300 local volunteers.

Produced, wrote and directed films for news broadcasting, corporate communications, marketing, fundraising, and education. Responsible for all aspects of media production, including creative development, research, writing, budgeting, scheduling, client relationships, casting and hiring talent and project staff, conducting on-camera interviews, supervising.

During nine-year career with the national news network, rose from Production Associate to Field Producer, working on a variety of news broadcasts including: Nightline with Ted Koppel, This Week with David Brinkley, World News Saturday and Sunday, and The Weekend Report. Special assignments included work on ABC's Persian Gulf War Coverage.
