I have been in the travel and tourism industry for 20+ years as a destination marketer/manager and association director with convention and visitors bureaus. In 2010, I managed pre-promotions for the Cincinnati Games at the 2010 World Choir Games in Shaoxing China, including collateral materials, trade show booth and promotion operations. For the 2012 World Choir Games, I was part of the team that managed the marketing and press coverage, which resulted in exceeding our ticket sales goals. Additionally, I wrote and managed the communications team's Concept of Operations, our manual for operations of the press functions of the 2012 Games and volunteer training materials. On-site at the event, I managed volunteers and venue press rooms.
