As my final internship in college I took on planning the First Amendment Festival at Central Washington University; a week long event celebrating all five rights under the First Amendment. In preparation for the festival I worked on research behind the festival’s success in previous years, which called for data input and analysis. My tasks included.

During my time as a reporter for The Observer at CWU, I was an online reporter which meant I covered all story subjects whenever they were available. My very first story with The Observer covered an interview I had with Mary Lambert after her concert at CWU.

For 3 months I immersed myself into the radio industry with the help of Hubbard Broadcasting and Click 98.9 based out of Seattle. During this time I helped to produce a new morning show with creative script additions and a multitude of research to grab new listeners.

Throughout the summer of 2013 I stood guard at VIP entrances at The Gorge music venue in George, WA. I checked identification, escorted artists on and off stage, and halted any unauthorized activity backstage.
