CurrentIntellitext is dedicated to providing quality real-time captioning using TypeWell, a software program which allows captioners to capture the meaning of what’s spoken at rapid speeds. As we transcribe, the words are streamed wirelessly to a laptop, tablet, or smartphone in front of the user. This allows the user to read what is said as it's said. Many people benefit from TypeWell real-time captioning services, including those who are D/deaf, hard of hearing, ESL speakers (English as a Second Language), veterans, the learning disabled, individuals with brain injuries, and those simply needing a meaning-for-meaning transcript to refer to later. We work in classrooms, hospitals, business meetings, laboratories, and just about anywhere you can imagine!As founder and owner, I am committed to helping advance the field by volunteering time to create e-learning classes to improve access to continuing education for the industry. I co-organized and sponsored the 2016 national TypeWell conference in Reno, Nevada and have created seminars on automation strategies for TypeWell Transcribers including an in depth workshop on remote captioning.
