Manager, Employee Relations
Current• Act as resource for managers and employees to address performance and employee relation matters, including investigations and action plans. Advise managers on how to resolve disputes, address compliance issues and other employee relations matters. Guide managers in the company disciplinary process, document and communicate behavior, attendance and/or performance issues, including warnings and follow-up and monitoring of employee progress as well as maintaining appropriate employee disciplinary records. • Interpret and provide guidance to managers and employees on human resource policies and procedures to achieve consistency, compliance, and efficiency. Provide feedback to Leadership on employee concerns and satisfaction issues and recommend changes or modifications based upon first-hand knowledge of the issues impacting employees. • Manages front desk administration guidance on administrative activities. • Promote communication of HR and business initiatives including organizational changes, training and development programs, benefit plans and plan changes, legal requirements, and compensation.• Coordinates the immigration process, including interfacing with legal counsel and employees/applicants and preparing visa/work permits. • Manages worker’s compensation, FMLA/OFLA, and ADA accommodations, including collaborating with payroll to track protected leave, worker’s compensation and disability and paid leave programs.• Provide ongoing training and support to managers to assure compliance with these programs and to protect corporate assets, and to assure adequate staff support.• Certified Instructor to develop and lead corporate HR related trainings to staff and leadership.
