I am a self-starter and a team player that is highly motivated to make a difference. I thrive when I am talking to people and establishing relationships. My optimistic, bubbly, and friendly personality affects everyone I come in contact with and I’ve been told countless times “I never meet a stranger.” I hope to use my outgoing personality, hard work ethic, and desire to positively impact those around me to do my best to further grow the organization I work for and further grow myself, as well. I graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management with a specialization in Human Resources. Throughout the course of college, I learned valuable skills and experience in matters like business strategy, management, fundamental marketing, employee satisfaction/motivators, staffing strategy and tailored leadership approaches.While at the University, I spent time working as a manager at a clothing boutique where I gained skills in sales, customer service, leadership, teamwork and time management. It revealed my enjoyment and skill in leading others and helping people. The experience enhanced my communication skills by having to communicate with the owners who lived 2 hours and 45 minutes away and with the 6-8 employees who reported directly to me. Also, because of my passion for sports I've worked in various sports environments which increased my knowledge in management and marketing operations, gave me experience working with a variety of people in a fast-paced environment, and familiarized me with working long hours. My previous position involved working with numerous departments--accounting, association management, and human resources. My duties ranged from accounts receivable, accounts payable, inputting new home owners, managing the corporate office, and assisting with new hires. My ultimate goal is to work for a company I believe in, with people I enjoy working with, while doing what I love in order to make a positive impact in helping that company achieve its' mission.
