I helped to organize the stand down from the first project to the last, 11 in all. I managed the information booths for the event and helped to set up the providers. We sponsored the event and provided the key note opening for the people attending. We trained the volunteers for every Project Homeless Connect since the beginning in 2007.

I developed panels of people speaking out, raising their voices to share their stories. I organized the conference, We also did the display of the shoe project sharing the art and stories of people across the region on what matters, what we have in common, who we are and how we're connected.

I have been on the 208 Health Care Reform Commission as a representative of the Homeless and people with mental illiness on the Vulnerability Task Force. I have lead conversations on mental illness, spoken out for people to access health care wherever they live in Colorado.

I have been working as a community representative since 2002 on the board deciding how funding would be appropriated for permanent housing and supportive services, going out and interviewing the homeless on the street for the Point in Time Survey the last Tuesdy in January. We also have stakeholder meeting where we establish priorities for the seven.

I serve on the Executive Committee. I was elected as a community board member in 2001. I have served on the Super NOFA committee bringing 14 million dollars to the seven county Continuum of Care, the Point in Time committee conducting the survey, in chrage of out reach, Chair and liaison to the Coordinating Committee, on the finance committee, nominating.

I am on the steering committe of the Colorado Social Legislative Committee, as a member helping to develop connections on public policy with state officials. We meet on Mondays at the St Paul Lutheran Church at 16th and Grant from noon to 1:30 during the legislative session.

I presided over the Board, supervised staff, signed checks, organized public presentations and public relations, represented the organization to state interests and groups throughout the seven county continuum of care of the metro Denver vicinity.

I am a good neighbor, taking care of the community in which we live and working on plans to ensure that all citizens have a safe place to live. Speak to groups and take them on tours of the community raising awareness of issues of poverty.

I edited and wrote for the church newsletter. I publish articles, prayers, announcements and have done the lay out and solicited copy fromthe community. I was the editor and manager of the Denver Homeless Voice Newspaper before that and a member of the Colorado Press Association.

I testify on public policies with people who have been marginalized either because of disabilities or because they have been neglected. We have been working across several advocay groups, including the All Families Deserve a Chance Coalition, the Colorado Social Legislative Committee, the Tenant Rights Advocacy Council, Colorado Coaltion for the Homeless.

Advocacy of people who have not been able to rise and take their place as citizens in their communities is my principle work. Developing leadership and spurring people to take a place as stewards of their neighborhoods. We are providing resources for people to move on with their lives and grow in awareness of their gifts.

I'm a founding member of the Board of Cresset Community Farm and Cresset Farm Development Initiative. Helped establish the Community Supported Agriculture shares.

On the 208 Health Care Reform Commission, the Health Care Policy and Finance Advisory Board on people with disabilities. I am a community organizer and public speaker on issues of poverty and especially homelessness. I serve as a chaplain for the State General Assembly.

For more than thirty years I've been an instructor for the American Red Cross in Spanish teaching a variety of courses on safety, first aid, Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, life guarding and water safety instruction. I was a teacher of English as a speaker's second language in Puerto Rico in the 1970's.

We published anewpaper for the homeless including resources for survival. We worked for ten years to offer a chance to listen to and publish the views of homeless people. We edited and distributed the paper to the people who experienced extreme poverty and neglect.

I did the inventory, book keeping, driving, sold the furnishings and set up the displays for the store. I was the manager.

I trained staff to be life guards, taught American Red Cross classes, offered training in recreation and aerobics, taught water safety, worked with all ages and experiences in the pool. I worked as a guard for the pools teaching seven days.

I created compost, watered the plots, weeded, set up the areas. changed the bedding of the garden, presented classes to master composters.
