- Providing spiritual care for patients who have received a terminal diagnosis, subsequently placed on Hospice for comfort measures and End of Life (EOL) care. - Based on a spiritual assessment conducted as the patient came on services, frequency of visits are determined as well as level of spiritual needs.- Bereavement services, including attending funerals, phone calls and mailings, in addition to providing bereavement counseling to families if desired.

Chaplain Residency: Level I and Level II CPE Residency- Spiritual Care in a Hospital setting; providing ministry to veterans at various levels of healthcare needs in a racially diverse, social, and religiously diverse environment. Assignments:Level I: MED and Surgical patients, Geriatrics and Spinal Cord Injury Ward. Prepare and conduct weekly chapel service, and spirituality groups with certain out-patient veteran services. Level II: Palliative Care and Hospice – assigned to the Palliative Care IDTParticipated in daily rounds with patients, individual visits, family meetings, consult meetings, pastoral calls to family, EOL care for patient and family, bereavement call to families

I finished Master of Divinity Degree with an emphasis in Chaplaincy from Regent University in summer of 2021. As part of my degree requirement, I completed one unit of CPE comprises 400 hours (300 clinical, 100 pedagogical hours) through an ACPE Certified program at Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My clinical hours were completed at University Village Retirement Community (Tulsa, Oklahoma) where I served as a Chaplain Intern.
