Management and supervision of RAC’s Arts School and management of RAC’s daily Operations. Position Overview: Arts School: The Sr. Director is charged with developing, managing, and overseeing The RAC’s Arts School in support of the overall RAC mission.Operations: smooth and efficient running of all aspects of RAC daily operations including: systems, technology, customer service support, policy/procedures implementation, and facilities oversight.• School and Program Development• Outreach: Implements and oversees all arts-related outreach programs that take place both inside and outside of RAC’s facility.• Gallery: Oversees exhibits including working with gallery committee, liaising with artists/curators, developing wall text, hanging artwork, budgeting, etc.• Financial Control: Along with Schools Registrar, tracks and maintain all records in relation to student matriculation. • Instructor management: Effectively manage the arts school instructors to learn of, and meet, student expectations, while ensuring that sound human resource policies and procedures are followed.• Customer service and program delivery: In coordination with all other RAC staff, ensure excellent service delivery in the areas of: customer service, communications, registration, financial transactions.• Communications: In coordination with Marketing Director, ensure clear communication about RAC operations, policies and procedures.• Systems/Technology: Oversees technology and smooth running of RAC systems includingTHRIVA, SalesForce, telephone systems, instructor scheduling, facility usage calendar and RAC staff IT needs. Provide recommendations for cost efficiencies as needed.• Facility usage and maintenance: Oversee the secure use of RAC’s facility, itsequipment, and surrounding grounds. Manages 2-4 part-time custodians• Fiscal Control: Develop, implement, monitor annual maintenance plan and budget. Provide monthly/quarterly updates.

-Manages faculty of over 30 instructors-Oversees programming for students of all ages, in a variety of mediums and disciplines

-Managed membership of over 500 individuals and families, creating a database to handle donor information and process multiple renewal and thank you mailings.-Provided monthly reports to the Board, detailing member/donor information.-Helped to create special events that raised funds for the RAC, and handled all admin aspects of the event.-Designed marketing fliers, brochures, and more to help market the RAC classes and events.-Handled accounts receivable.-Processed class registrations.-Wrote, and assisted in the writing of, grants for a variety of RAC projects and events.-Implemented a Media Arts program at the RAC.

-Design logos for various small businesses and non-profit organizations-Create publications (newsletters, catalogs, auction catalogs) for non-profits and schools
