My team is also responsible for maintaining our architecture patterns, best practices, build logic, project structure, and tooling to support the entire Hulu Android team. I also lead the efforts to convert our build source to Kotlin, integrated Dogfooding, improving build speeds with Gradle Enterprise remote caching, and automating our Release process.

As a lead developer I’ve had the opportunity to work on an array of challenging Android applications for industry leading clients such as Amazon, Microsoft, TED Conferences, Sesame Street, Sony, and Walmart. I also participated on several internal projects and contributed to open source including two Android libraries that I published. My other responsibilities included hosting a monthly internal Android developer meeting, maintaining our coding standards, and managing a team of developers.

With Randroid Solutions I developed and published Trippster, a multi-stop GPS trip planner and address book for the Android platform. Combined with its former free version (Navdress Book), Trippster has received over 40,000 downloads since its release. It was promoted as a "Featured App" in the Android Market and was also featured in a PCWorld article. Trippster encompasses several complex mobile technologies including AES encryption, In-app Billing, MySQL, GPS mapping, and automated backup & restore.

I lead the mobile development effort for the LabCorp Beacon Mobile project, a test results delivery application for both the Android and iOS platforms. Beacon Mobile was designed to run universally on phone and tablet devices, and includes a series of complex SOAP calls and real-time alerts via Google's C2DM and Apple's APNS frameworks. My responsibilities included developing all projects natively utilizing Eclipse for Android and Xcode for iOS.
