An alumnus of IIM Calcutta, I work for India's leading integrated PPE manufacturer Mallcom India Ltd. as an Associate Vice President - Marketing. My core responsibilities include taking care of marketing and distribution of branded PPE's across APAC region. Equipped with 24+ years of experience in this domain, I look for new business opportunities across the spectrum, besides delivering insightful, innovative & techno-commercially feasible business solutions and providing 360 degree business linkages with our stakeholders. My focus has always been to drive revenue in business development, commercial sales, strategic sourcing & purchase, vendor development, logistics as well as supply chain management, thereby standing the company in good stead. I strongly advocate the term “change”, as it is the only way ahead, be it collaborative or disruptive!Key responsibilities at Mallcom: - Managing portfolio of different brands and models, developing appropriate inorganic and organic growth strategies as well as building marketing strategies for each.- Managing marketing and distribution of branded PPE's across APAC. - Regularly presenting papers at various industry forums organised by CII, FICCI, Assocham and other leading trade bodies. - Developing a strong network and relationships with dealers and end-users along with marketing and production teams across the organisation.- Handling supply chain management for the imported range of products.- Managing inventory levels to maximize sales. - Developing and execute category plans to meet revenue goals. - Making changes to the product line to increase the profit margin. - Providing clients/dealers with customer-focused insights regarding the product and category.- Managing the sales team for improving sales of a specific category of products.- Developing selling strategies based on the company’s competitive and success elements.- Managed a team of marketing professionals to ensure the success of marketing campaigns.- Worked alongside marketing specialists and graphic designers.
