My years of experience with lab furniture products and laboratory space planning allow me to provide valuable insight to clients as well as internal personnel. My primary focus includes product design & customization, spec writing & review, space planning assistance, and consulting for potential or awarded lab projects. As a member of New England Lab since 1996 and current Director of the Technical Support Department, I maintain a library of the latest cutsheets, samples, CAD drawings, and construction codes to ensure smooth coordination and successful projects. I have served in a variety of roles with New England Lab and have experience from beginning to end of a construction project. I also advise on Marketing efforts including the website, and conduct product training classes for all new employees. Prior to my service at New England Lab, I spent three years with a plywood distributor, becoming an expert in plywood construction and wood veneers. I am blessed to have been the lead patent holder on two US patents.My specialized training includes the HPVA “Hardwood Plywood Veneer Grading Workshop”, as well as “HVAC Systems and Laboratory Design” and “Safety Cabinet Technology” at the Eagleson Institute.My hobbies include travel photography and I have been blessed to visit over 85 U.S. National Parks and Historic Sites as well as a few Canadian, Italian, and Tanzanian nationally preserved sites. I also enjoy bass fishing, drawing & painting, and volunteering at my local church in a variety of roles.
