Helped a local friend open a new Restaurant and Bar offering my experience as a line cook.Advised in numerous small ways on operations, safety, and equipment setup. Worked the line as a cook while we battled through the packed opening days learning how to refine operations in the small kitchen space as we went. Was responsible for food prep, cleaning, cooking, and washing kitchen dishes.Was able to reshape knives and weld equipment to keep the opening gear functional. Helped to unload and stock beer and food items, organize the back of house, and even washed a fair share of server’s dishes to smooth operations in the first months.With more reliable staff my service has mostly ended for now, though I may come back on packed nights to support them or learn to tend bar when they need that.

Reported and responded to a variety of base emergencies.Responsible and professional Personal driver for the 45th STB Command Sergant Major, followed by the personal driver to the Pacific Command Garrison Commander. Unit Logistical Support Team Leader to the Garrison Commander. Responsible for daily accountability of five to ten soldiers. Daily operation missions included morning PT street cones, barracks issuing and repairs, and hundreds of welcome home ceremonies organized for families and returning soldiers during the Iraq withdrawal.Had a significant impact on organization of Pacific Command's welcome home ceremonies over two years under the Obama Administration Iraq withdrawal effort. Where hundreds and sometimes thousands of family guests and service members had to enter and exit through a two lane gate into a vast paved vehicle staging area without any parking guides. Transformed the situation from a multi hour wait each event for so many to heard style exit, to a record smashing fourty minutes after the largest ceremony we did, utilizing a 10 personnel crew and carefully organized guidelines for traffic control and parking lane structure.
