Responsible for the development, management, and administration of simulation resources in support of educational programs, patient care, and research at Palmetto Health. The Director is responsible for developing programs, overseeing the budget, assessing future needs, formulating policies and procedures, supervising staff, ensuring the quality of operations, promoting simulation-based training services to Palmetto Health staff, and collaborating with USC School of Medicine faculty and staff. The Director also provides comprehensive strategic and operational planning initiatives in support of the SimCOACH mobile Simulation Center. The Director will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, innovation, and research while managing the implementation of change initiatives for the integration of patient simulation technology into healthcare education within our institutions and surrounding communities. The Director provides the leadership required to ensure services are delivered within scope, timeliness, quality, and client satisfaction guidelines. Ensures the financial health of services provided through the development of appropriate organizational structure, financial reporting and accountability.
