Collected and analyzed data from Jefferson Lab to calculate the differential cross-section of the f2(1270) meson, and expanded my knowledge and experience in the field of particle physics. Utilized ROOT and C++ to isolate data, bin data under certain kinematic conditions, and performed background analysis by generating Monte Carlo (MC) simulations of a given particle physics reaction. Collaborated with an international group of experimentalists and theorists on the analysis to build and interpret a theory of the understanding of the f2(1270) meson. Wrote an analysis note submitted to the CLAS Collaboration Review Committee and published a paper to Physical Review Letters (PRL).

Guided student employees through I-9, W-4, and Ohio Public Employee Retirement System paperwork. Created semesterly work itineraries which accommodate for time around students’ class and work schedules. Organized and tracked employee rewards system to improve employee satisfaction and retention. Promoted university employment through tabling, social media, emails, and the application website.

Independently instructed approximately 30 undergraduate students in an introductory physics lab course. Provided advice and assistance to students as they conduct their lab. Evaluated and graded undergraduate students’ performance in an introductory physics II lab. Fostered a comfortable learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. This included attending to oral, visual, and kinesthetic learners.
