About Randy Castillo

Currently serving as the Organizational Strategist and Technology Innovation Leader at ALIAC, where I directed the development and successful implementation of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) during the pandemic. I also led the creation of the ALIAC Workspace, a comprehensive platform that supports hybrid learning and work environments.In my ongoing work to advance post-pandemic strategies, I recently designed, developed, and implemented an innovative Aviation Resources Management System. This system automates critical processes, including flight scheduling, real-time monitoring of training takeoffs and landings, flight dispatching, billing, and flight log tracking for students, instructors, and aircraft. With a training dashboard and analytics capability, this system has generated millions in savings and improved process turnaround by nearly 300%.Previously, I served as the Director for the Planning and Organizational Development Office at Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Manila and Bataan campuses. Reporting to the Rector and President, I supported strategic organizational planning and developed scorecards to track implementation and achievement of goals. As Quality Champion, I also drove Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives based on the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Education Excellence, leading to Letran's recognition with the Philippine Quality Award (PQA). My expertise includes creating and refining organizational manuals, ranking and promotion systems, employee performance management, ISO-based policies and procedures, feedback management, quality training, process improvement, culture building, and quality management initiatives. My career has consistently encompassed multiple concurrent leadership roles.Dedicated to fostering growth in others, I share my knowledge through speaking and consulting engagements with educational institutions, healthcare organizations, IT firms, and port management entities. I was honored to speak at an international forum on the future of education at the Wee Kim Wee Center, Singapore Management University (SMU). I am an active member of the Philippine Society for Quality (PSQ), a trained PQA assessor, an IT and OD consultant, and an Organizational Strategist.
