Developed and maintained strong working relationships with range personnel and Drill Instructors, allowing the recruits to benefit from the accumulated knowledge and efforts of all the Marines involved in their marksmanship training.• Identified problem shooters and worked with them on the range and in the ISMT to better assist them in grasping the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship. Achieved a 96.6% initial qualification rate among his assigned recruits, with 32.3% of those recruits attaining an expert classification. Achieved 100% initial qualification rates for four separate platoons.• Supervised over 1000 recruits and 12 coaches through numerous live fire qualification attempts. Supervised remediation training and subsequent qualification attempts for shooters who failed to qualify on their initial attempt. Ensured all coaches in his charge were trained to the level of proficiency needed to instruct entry level shooters. Ensured coaches in his charge were employed to best maximize their talents.• Assisted coaches and PMI's in the remediation of weak shooters. Ensured pit service operations were conducted correctly.
