Member of development team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining all web applications for the Freight Management System that the company is built upon. Responsibilities include:• Participating in the ongoing migration of all functionality for the web applications from ASP to ASP.NET, which has been critical in the expansion of our product to other countries.• Developing new web pages utilizing ASP, VBScript, javascript, HTML, ASP.NET, C#, SQL, and CSS.• Developing COM components utilizing Visual Basic.• Writing SQL Queries, utilizing ADO, developing stored procedures and triggers.• Troubleshooting and tracking down performance and system problems.• Developing the front end (.aspx), code behind (.cs), javascript validation, CSS stylesheet, middle tier, and SQL stored procedures for each screen that is newly created or migrated from classic ASP.• During migration from ASP to ASP.NET, designing and developing an object-oriented architecture for each web application.• Leading and collaborating with other developers on the design, development, and testing of new projects/functionality for the web applications.• Planning all tasks for two week intervals, and ensuring all assigned work is completed on time, to ensure the customer receives the functionality they are expecting in a timely manner.• Ensuring timely follow up of all assigned tickets, regardless of existing workload.• Proactively seeking out solutions to less common problems, developing workarounds for customer problems, and performing bug verification for reported issues when appropriate.• Providing off-hour support and coverage for designated nights and weekends.

Served as a member on a development team for instrumentation application software for an Embedded Flight Controls and Display System. Also, served as a member on the development team for an in-house designed high-level test tool. • Participated in the successful completion of two FAA certifications for the Integrated Flight Control and Display System.• Owned four software packages which included maintenance and debugging of existing requirements, code, and high-level tests.• Created new requirements, software, and high-level tests for new features within the packages, which made the product more user-friendly.• Tested all updated software on the Flight Display hardware, which included loading the software onto the hardware and interfacing with the hardware, which ensured correct operation of software.• Worked on a team that developed an in-house test tool, which included design of the user-interface, scripting language, and compiler.
