Randy joined the Revelstoke Credit Union in the fall of 2005 as their General Manager of General Insurance and Wealth Management Operations.This General Insurance office first opened it's doors to the general public at the Credit Union building in January of 2006 with only four employees and zero clients on it's books. Since then, Randy has overseen and implemented corporate planning and systems strategies that now sees the General Insurance business in it's own new corporate location with 14 employees. Today Randy is focused on the business management, corporate relationships, overseeing products, customer service and sitting on the Credit Union Executive Management team, all while being the Account Executive on a large commercial insurance portfolio. Randy is the Past President of the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce and committee chair for the Chamber on the Revelstoke Enhancement Committee. He has also served two terms as President of the Revelstoke Rotary Club and is their current Co-Membership Chairperson. Randy also sits on the board's for the following community groups: VP (vice-president) Revelstoke Senior Citizen's Housing Society, VP - Revelstoke Tree's for Tot's Society, President Revelstoke Community Housing Society, Revelstoke Men's Soccer and recently retired after 16 years honoured service as President / Leading Member: Revelstoke Fire Department & Rescue Society. As a Graduate of the Revelstoke Secondary School, he went on to continue his education in Business and Finance at Okanagan College (Kelowna) and from there started his insurance career at Calgary with the Co-operators Insurance Company. Returning from Calgary to Revelstoke in 1990, Randy has worked on the General Insurance Brokerage side as a Autoplan / Personal Lines Manager, Commercial Account Executive, Manager and now General Manager. Randy loves physical Fitness and is involved in numerous community events related to his work, community boards, local church and sports groups.
