Oversee 18 Troubleshooters in the Merrimack Valley.

• Meet with account executives, engineering, and customer care reps to review and prioritize current and upcoming workload.• Review all incoming work orders, request needed materials, prioritize, assign to field supervisors and crews.• Assign crew and vehicle resources to insure minimum crew and expense allotment.• Increased schedule maximization & adherence, night loading and SLA numbers.• Met and/or exceeded new customer commitment dates, maintained low off schedules.• Utilize system prints and design to write system permits for project requiring switching and customer outages.• During major storm restoration, call in crews with ARCOS roster monster, maintain Gator M3i by assigning crews to outages and status updates, participate in restoration update conference calls.• Utilize company and industry software including Gator M31, ARCOS, Crystal Enteprise, FastView, TeleForms, EOPOST, Double Pole Database, Lotus Notes and MS Office.• Perform duties of OH/UG Field Supervisor

• Responsible for assigning daily work assignments and crews, ensuring all crew members are fit for duty.• Preform field look ups to eliminate potential job stoppers for upcoming projects.• Enforce company and industry safety standard by conducting field safety observations and performing coaching opportunities when needed.• Meet with customers in field to review project scope, timelines and any follow up information• Supervise crew during storm restoration including mobilization of crews to assist in other AWC, update dispatch on ETR and job status.• Insure timely crew departures and return times at AWC, minimize opportunities for overtime and work lunches.• Serve as on call supervisor

• Oversee all activities in communication division including estimating, budgeting, and sales.• Supervise a staff of 25 including aerial/underground construction crews, Fiber Technicians, and Project Managers • Track fiber projects simultaneously, maintain project deadlines.• Work with colleagues and management, clients, and other resources in a collaborative manner to reach decisions and solve problems.• Project scopes include NSTAR Electric substation fiber optic diversity, NSTAR electric OPGW relocation, Installation cables on the NSTAR Aerial and underground network.• Attend site visit with customer to walk out projects.• Coordinate all field operation in regard to fiber installation and termination for NSTAR Communications.• Manage fiber optic crews including scheduling, training and safety review.• Contracted to NSTAR Communication for perform Network Operations Center and OSP Database Technician services.Network Operation Center- NSTAR Communications• Act as primary contact for fiber splicing documentation and/or fiber route documentation during fiber outages, network point to point issues and complete engineering restoration changes to fiber splicing and/or route documentation• Communicate between Fiber Documentation Department and Fiber Coordinators to provide fiber allocation information to deliver network services and also rectify fiber network issues relating to fiber splicing and route and fiber route projects.• Proactively identify potential weaknesses in the fiber optic network and autonomously develop and implement new solutions to resolve the issues.• Always accessible to 24 hour X 7 day/week for Network Emergencies.OSP Database Technician – NSTAR Communications•Engineer fiber routing designs through the use of OSP design software, Row Maps, and Network Design maps • On weekly basis perform maintenance of fiber network records through the use of computerized records, industry software, Auto CAD.
