I have been in law enforcement since 1992. My goal is to continue to learn and improve my skills. On June 04, 2014 I was involved in a head on collision while in my patrol car. A 17 year old was texting and driving when he crossed the center line and hit me. Due to the injuries I sustained, after 23 years of law enforcement, my career as a patrolman is over. I am currently working in corrections at the Justice Center. I hope to eventually be able to find something where I can put this experience to use so that I may help others, such as becoming a training officer or detective at a department.
