Installed, serviced, and maintained usage metering and computer billing systems for the Regional Bell Operating Companies. Created and implemented Design Change Notices to the Service Department, and digit routing tables for step–by–step switching offices. Utilized various hand–held tools, meters, diagnostic equipment and schematic drawings to perform board level repairs and equipment installation.• Lead Technician on 6–month Computer Electronic Billing System project in California. Converted 160 Pacific Bell’s Class 5 Central Office switches from paper tape system to an automated billing system.• Service Department representative on the Design Control Board.• Developed course material and instructed classes on computer billing system.
