Geocycle is the alternative materials recycling division for our parent company Holcim Cement. Our “Pre-Processing & Kiln-Co-Processing” program is a viable long term sustainability option for waste generators who want their material out of the landfill via the greener cement manufacturing process known as “Kiln-Co-Processing.Cement kiln-co-processing is a superior thermal destruction process as compared to traditional municipal trash burning facilities. Geocycle pre-processes waste materials to an engineered fuel specification prior to transferring into a cement kiln where the engineered fuel is exposed to a higher temperature, a longer residence time, and a higher destruction removal efficiency of waste compounds. Unlike a traditional municipal trash burning facility which generates ~20% ash and that ash is landfilled, a cement kiln does not generate ash therefore eliminating landfill and being your true landfill avoidance technology. The Pre-Processed AFR is then transferred to the Holcim Holly Hill, SC Cement plant for Kiln Co-Processing. •Secondary responsibility includes the sales and marketing of hazardous and non- hazardous bulk liquids into Geocycle Artesia, MS for AFR transfer to the Holcim Cement Plant in Holly Hill, SC•Cold calling to generate new revenue•Consistently a top producer of revenue and volume•Diversified customer base from one vendor who was 100% of business in 2003 and is now <10% of business •2010 National Sales Meeting Award recipient for Geocycle’s “Best Business Performance” for initiating and implementing Project “Cherry Pick” at the Dorchester, SC facility which translated into a 20-60% price increase to the customer base•2009 Finalist for National Account Manager department, which was never implemented•Obtain prospective AFR samples and profiles for plant review and analysis •Provide support activities required for environmental permitting and safety •Compile marketing data on generators in assigned geographical area(s)•Secondary territory is the US traveling to national account facilities/offices (and working with the area Geocycle sales managers) •Worked closely with Business Manager on marketing, pricing, and strategic planning•Assist the Collections Department on past due accounts
