I have been on the administration side of arts non profits for 3 years now, and before that I was on the volunteer side. In addition to managing the programs of OCA&H, I am the creator and founder of One Book Odessa (A city wide reading program), Books in the Basin (the Permian Basin's only book festival). In 2017, I assisted in facilitating the revival of the Odessa Shakespeare Festival at the Globe Theater at Odessa College. I have served two consecutive terms on the Texas Commission for the Arts' Local Arts Agencies Grant Panel, represented Odessa at the Tom Lea Symposium at the Smithsonian, and commissioned and shepherded a Public Art Master Plan for the City of Odessa through the City Council. As an administrator, I work closely with the 30 plus arts agencies in Odessa and Ector County, facilitating over $300,000 in grant money awarded through the Hotel Occupancy Tax from the City of Odessa.
