Overview of Role:Reports to Gypsum Division Process Control Manager.Location: Atlanta, GA - GP CenterThe position adds value by providing leadership in the analysis and selection of electrical and process controls technologies to solve problems and implement changes at multiple operations, often through the development and execution of large and small plant improvement projects.Provide advanced engineering expertise to solve problems and implement changes at multiple operations by developing scope, estimating costs, designing, constructing, purchasing and installing new, or modifying existing, equipment and systems that support the improvement of safety, efficiency, reliability, waste reduction and increased machine utilization.Ensure all activities conform to the Company's Management Philosophy and Guiding Principles. Key Responsibilities:Provide guidance to manufacturing operations on selection and implementation of electrical technologies.Design and implement value creating industrial process and motor controls on capital projects of varying magnitude.Assist in the development of Engineering Standards for the Gypsum division and participate in facility evaluations for technical improvements.Develop, review, and revise project investment requests (DMF) to ensure sound engineering approaches and professional presentations.Work with plant based personnel, corporate engineering groups, and external consultants to ensure the proper execution of Large and Small Projects utilizing the appropriate work processes.Pursue engineering solutions to repetitive equipment deficiencies.Provide timely and effective support to operations during urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities Provide training to customers in the operation, programming, installation and maintenance of RA hardware and software products. Continuously develop presentation and product skills. Maintain his/her utilization required to meet Company objectives, and manage his/her schedule in order to upgrade his/her instructional, technical and product skills.• Engineering assistance application, programming specifications, etc.• Field service installation start-up integration, system optimization, maintenance and warranty implementation.• Troubleshooting hardware and software problemsProvide technical assistance to sales and customer personnel on product applications to include alternatives, recommendations, explanations, surveys, etc. to meet the customer’s requirements.Prepare training and field service proposals and pursue opportunities to generate revenue for all FLT division of the customer support and maintenance business group. In consultation with the Training Coordinator, ensure that all training enquiries and courses are organized and delivered efficiently and effectively, to the highest professional standards. Communicate directly with customers to identify training requirements and design customer on-site courses. Conduct training courses both in-house and on-site at customer locations. Ensure that course attendees understand the skills and knowledge imparted on the courses and achieve the course objectives, whilst enjoying the learning environment. Maintain technical competency in assigned course curriculum, product competency, and instructional skills. Field Service / Support Attend to field service work as determined and scheduled by customer care.Provide proper (accurate and prompt) reporting of technical, administrative and accounting as directed. This will include timesheets, expenses, customer service orders and other internal paper work.Ensure thorough familiarity with company’s policies and procedures.

I work in the electrical engineering department and the electrical lead for the group. I am responsible for design, programming, and commissioning of electrical systems. Grenzebach provides systems for the solar glass as well as the gypsum / plasterboard industries. The systems are very technical and are commissioned globally. I was part of the engineering design as well as the on site commissioning.Work with the German engineering office on Gypsum Board line and solar glass projects in Germany, China, Thailand, Australia, Chile, Malaysia and the US. I was part of the engineering team for the development, testing and onsite commissioning of these projects.

I was part of the corporate engineering group and in charge of the electrical design and implementation of systems for the GCL processes at CETCO.
