Responsibilities primarily included opening and maintaining customer relationships. I also played an integral role in upholding operational standards within the branch, as well as meeting compliance with federal banking regulations and branch safety. As a Portfolio Manager, I was charged with furthering the bank’s relationship with a portfolio of then current customers. I met with my portfolio customers regularly and helped them find financial solutions that meet their needs, including loans, credit card, home equity lines of credit, mortgages, life insurance and retirement planning. I also opened accounts for new customers and set a strong tone for the beginning of their relationship with the bank.

Responsibilities included entry of financial statement data and securities market data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, performing market and economic research, making initial valuation decisions (such as risk premiums and growth rates), reaching out to clients to ask questions and receive any missing information, drafting valuation reports in Microsoft Word and various other tasks that are asked of me by the Partners of the company. I primarily worked on engagements in Employee Stock Option Plan and estate & gift tax valuations, and I have worked on hundreds of bank holding company projects each spring over the past three years. Aside from bank clients, I have participated in the valuation of clients in industries ranging from securities holding, real estate, shipping, engineering, biotechnology and more. I was also asked, on multiple occasions, to use my knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word to organize certain data provided by clients, in order to streamline the valuation process for such clients. Finally, it was also my duty to update the company’s valuation model in order to fit the appropriate format for each client.
