Responsible for the North America voice communications in the manufacturing and headquarter for Kemet. It was my responsibility to maintain and program 1 Nortel Option 81C, 2 Nortel Option 11C and 1 Norstar key systems in the USA. I was the lead technician for problem solving and support. There were 5 support staff in the USA and 5 in Mexico that I supervised for voice moves, add and changes. I was also responsible for the vendor technicians used to pull cables and provide hardware support. During my employment at Kemet I coordinated the upgrade of the Option 61C to an 81C at headquarters and supervised the installation of 11 new Nortel Option 11C PBX's and 10 Norstar key systems in the USA and Mexico. Headquarters was equipped with an OC 3 fiber ring from the local telecom office. PRI T1's were used to connect the Northern PBX to our data network and remote locations. I also managed the local service vendors for voice and data circuit service and cell phone service.

PBX/ Key system and Data circuit Installation and Maintenance- Transferred from Contel Federal Systems in Virginia to Contel Telephone Company in Simpsonville SC. My duties included installing residential phone service and maintaining Northern PBX's and Key systems. I also installed data circuits, T1's, ISDN and various Data rate circuits to businesses and residents. During my employment I installed approximately 20 key systems and assisted in the installation of 5 PBX. I often filled in for the manager when he was away, managing 7 outside personnel.
