Decreased medical supplies cost per patient care day from $90 to $79 at a long term acute care hospital. Reduced the likelihood of medication events at a long term acute care hospital. Reduced short stay outliers rate from forty four to thirty three percent yielding an additional annual Medicare reimbursement of $427,000 at a long term acute care hospital.
